Internship Program

Through a partnership between TSP and Pickens County Career and Technical Center, a high school student is selected to begin working at TSP’s campus full-time during the summer prior to their senior year. Throughout the summer, he or she stays busy shadowing techs working in the TSP shop and learning to properly operate turf equipment. When school resumes in August, the intern’s hours are reduced, but learning opportunities continue through their senior year. Upon graduation, if TSP is fully staffed and unable to hire the intern as a full-time employee, TSP assists them in finding placement elsewhere in the turf industry.
